June 20th 2012 - Junior Update
Trevor’s update follows:

I’d like to add my congratulations to the MAROC junior team that retained the JST last Sunday. In spite of our large numbers, the way it is scored also gives smaller clubs a good chance, and ECKO and FVO both ran us close…..
2012 Jamie Stevenson Trophy - 5 in a row!
“Congratulations to everyone that took part in the JST today and achieved another terrific win against stiff opposition. That’s the 5th time in a row that we’ve won, proving once again that we have the best junior team in Scotland. Its a great team event, and I was particularly pleased that no one miss punched or didn’t turn up. I was especially impressed with the juniors that have only just started orienteering with us this year, and how quickly they’ve improved and how well they did today.”

Rumour has it that there will be MAROC interest in at least other big city marathon this year.
