A full moon, nice frosty conditions and for the most part great runnability at Bogendreip.

On Wednesday 8th December the third round of the Deeside Night Cup was held in the north west end of Shooting Greens woods.
On Sunday 5th December an impromptu ski orienteering competition was organised by Sarah Dunn at Dess Woods near Kincardine o’ Neil to take advantage of the fantastic cross-country skiing conditions on offer.
On the evening of Wed 1st Dec the second round of the Deeside Night Cup, organised by Dave Kirk (Grampian Orienteers), was held at Raemoir.
Last week saw the start of the winter Deeside Night Cup orienteering series, which fittingly kicked off on a snowy Wednesday evening (24th Nov) at Balnagowan Forest, just outside Aboyne.
