Wednesday Orienteering in Upper Dee/Donside Series
We have a truly exciting 4 weeks of Wed evening events lined up starting on World Orienteering Day on the 24th May 2017. The series includes 3 stunning brand new orienteering areas and another just as stunning which has been rarely used...
The WOUDS (Wednesday Orienteering in Upper Dee/Donside Series) series will provide a fantastic opportunity for all the family to take part - whether complete novices or elite athletes. Each event will have a white, orange and green / blue course and ALSO A STRING COURSE for the wee ones. To allow folk to travel up the glen after work there will be a wide start block between 5-7pm.
The series will be run as a mini league with prizes for best 3/4 events in several special categories, inc. novice youngsters on white and novice adults on orange.
Bring a bbq or a picnic and make a summers' evening of it! And check out what the terrain might be like for Royal Deeside 2017!
