SOA recently announced that Jess Halliday (ECKO) and Mike Rodgers (Moravian) have been appointed as Regional Development Officers in Grampian for the period of the next two years. Jess will soon be moving to Speyside and will work with MAROC in Aberdeenshire and GRAMP in Aberdeen City, and Mike will work with Moravian in Morayshire, with the possibility that some projects will engage both.
The posts are sponsored by sportscotland, Moray LEADER, Aberdeenshire Council and SOA. All partners are keen to promote and grow orienteering in the Grampian Region through a number of projects with the local clubs, with schools, other target groups and local communities in general.
