Scottish 6 Day 2017 - Race 1 at Glen Tanar

MAROC and Grampian Orienteers held a joint SOL weekend incorporating the Senior Home Internationals. 

On the Saturday GRAMPstaged a Middle Distance races at Balmedie along with the SHI Relays, and on the Sunday it was MAROCs turn with a full distance SOL at Glen Tanar. 

Since it was built as a traditional highland estate in 1869, Glen Tanar has been inviting people to relax and enjoy the great outdoors amidst a beautiful 25,000 acre landscape encompassing farmland, river, pine forests and heather clad moors.

Last used for World Championship Selection races in 2015 and the Scottish 6 Day in 2017.
