Maroc appoints Club Development Officer
Eilidh Campbell now in post
Maroc are delighted to announce the appointment of Eilidh Campbell as their Club Development Officer. Eilidh has been orienteering on Deeside since school days, and is now one of Britain's elite orienteers. Her part time post is for 6 months from March to August 2025, and her role is to capitalise on the Scottish 6 Days event being held in Royal Deeside this year, by attracting new people to the sport.
Maroc is very grateful to the Orienteering Foundation who have generously support this posting, and also to ESRI(UK)Ltd and Foundation Scotland who have also contributed.
Eilidh will be working with existing sports clubs to offer taster sessions, and will be seen at other community events raising awareness of orienteering. Her work will signpost people to Maroc's regular programme of activities, with the aim of providing exisiting non-orienteers with the necessary knowhow to participate in Royal Deesdie 2025.
