The Deeside Night Cup is over for another year. The twelve race series was once again a close affair with most of the placings only being decided at Scolty after the last race. The usual lavish prize giving at the post race Curry was this year attended by an all time record 40 people.

Jon Musgrave regained the title of DNC Long race champion, pushing Finlay Langan, the 2010 winner into 2nd place. Dan Gooch who couldn't make the fully complement of races required, still took 3rd spot. Finaly also took 1st Junior, with Sarah Dunn winning the 1st woman prize. Rhona McMillan cleaned up in the short race series, taking that title, as well as that of 1st junior and 1st woman. Sam Gomersall was 2nd overall.

The vote for best planner went to Drew Tivendale for the courses he set at Coull. The Raemoir Trophy for toughest course was awarded to John Mason for his thigh deep snow epic at Shooring Greens. Nobody managed to attend all 12 races this year, the best being ten, achieved by 8  people, with Andy Tivendale being the lucky winner of the prize draw.
