Introductory Orienteering Sessions and After-School Clubs Autumn 2017
Aboyne After-school club
Maroc will be organising a block of 4 introductory orienteering sessions aimed at family participation with full coaching provided. After-school clubs will also be starting up again in Aboyne and Banchory after the summer holidays.
The first session of the family introductory block is on Sun 27th August at Bogendreip near Strachan with subsequent sessions on 3rd Sep at Dalliefour, Ballater; 10th Sep at Bellwood, Aboyne and 17th Sep at Scolty, Banchory. Full details and an application form are here.
A free taster session for Aboyne after-school orienteering club will be held on Thu 31st Aug from 5-6pm, with the club running for 6 weeks thereafter up to the October holidays. The club is open to all pupils in P5-7 from any school. It meets at Aboyne Community Centre and uses nearby areas of woodland for training. Full details and an application form are here.
