2013 Scottish Junior Inter Area - 5th/6th October
Inter-Area Girls Relay Start
The 2013 Scottish Junior Inter Area competition was hosted in Deeside on 5th & 6th October. In all, a total of 111 juniors took part in the Relay and 128 in the Individual competition, which may be a record.
The Relays were hosted by GRAMP at Scolty on Saturday in brilliant sunshine and full results, splits and photos can be found on their website.
The Individual part of the competition was hosted by MAROC on Sunday in conjunction with SOL6 at Wood of Easter Clune, a terrific example of Deeside woodland with a great variety of terrain and challenging technical difficulty.
After the points were calculated, the results were: East, 3rd with 63 points; West 2nd with 123 points: North, 1st with 151 points. Congratulations to the winning team, comprised of juniors from MAROC, GRAMP, INVOC and MORAVIAN.
