Maroc held their AGM, social and awards ceremony at Deeside Activity Park on Saturday evening.
Despite the snowy conditions more than 50 club members turned out for the event. Juniors were presented with badges, certificates and medals that they have achieved over the last year through Scottish and British award schemes. Club trophies were also awarded.
The “Junior Improver” trophy was presented to Josh Dudley who came back into the sport within the last year and has rapidly progressed through the different levels to reach a standard where he is challenging the top runners of his age in Scotland. The trophy for “Junior Champion” was awarded to 10 year old Joe Wright who has achieved consistently high results at a national level including top class relay performances.
The “Commitment” trophy was presented to committee member Alastair Marshall in recognition of his tireless inputs to club and event organisation. Club league winners were: Bronwyn Matthews (Junior Girl), Ewen Kerridge (Junior Boy), Sarah Dunn (Senior Lady) and Andy Tivendale (Senior Man).
