MAROC in the shadow of the Matterhorn

MAROC athletes have been busy over the summer holidays this year with members taking part in competitions across Europe. From Croatia to Switzerland, Romania to Sweden MAROC were there….

Taking part in the Croatian Open, a 5 day competition held in the Primorsko-Goranska region Sarah Dunn, Jon and Ewan Musgrave all finished 2nd in their respective classes. 

Jenny Ricketts, Jake and Alastair Chapman, Evelyn and Abi Mason, Rosie Getliff, Joe Wright, Josh Dudley and Ross McMurtrie were all part of the Scottish Junior Team taking part in the world's largest orienteering event, the Swedish O-Ringen. This year's O-Ringen was a success in terms of number of participants and starts. The preliminary figures show that during the O-Ringen week , there was in total 93 862 starts made by 22,571 people.

Roger and Trish Coombs took in two days of the Transylvania Open in Romania before travelling across Europe to take part, along with 5000 others, in the latest Swiss O Week held near Zermatt.
