Pre Event Info

BOF requires that everyone planning, organising or controlling any forthcoming O-events needs to attend (or have attended) an Event Safety Workshop.

The evening will be very interactive to get us all thinking about event risks, how to minimise risks and how to respond if an incident occurs. It's not complex, all about common sense things that should be assessed at every event. There will be no charge for the session and there will be home baking available!

Safety and Risk

A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
Participants in orienteering should be aware of the risk of tick bites - more information here.

SPORTident timing will be used

Please note that a lost hire SI-Card will be charged for at a rate of £30, unless the Club Commitee agrees that there are special circumstances.
