Pre Event Info
This event will offer a great opportunity to come and try out the sport of orienteering. No prior experience is required and club coaches will be available to help get you started. No special equipment is necessary, just wear old clothing suitable for a walk / run in the woods and remember waterproofs if it looks like rain. You will be given a specially prepared orienteering map when you register for your course. You can take part on your own / in pairs / or as part of a family group.
You can just turn up on the day, or if you think you will be coming then please send an "Early Email Entry", which will help the organisers to print the right number of maps and set up the computer system. If you do this then a map will be reserved for you up until 11:30 on Sunday.
Email your name, BOF or SOA number (if applicable) and preferred course to by 2.30 pm Saturday 21 April. Please put EEE and the date of the event in the subject line of the email.
