AUOC Event at Cambus O’May - 29th November

Invitation from Aberdeen University

AUOC are staging an event at Cambus O'May. Courses will open at 12 and will be open for an hour. Entry is £1 per map. The course is 3.7km long and consists of 15 controls. There will be no electronic time keeping, but a good old fashioned perfarating punching system. The course consists of a long control distance, a loop of short followed by an other long and two short loops. Call it a orienteering intervals and taking the control in high speed. Technicality is somewhere in the area of green / TD5. A minibus will be located at the car park, where maps can be collected. Start will be allocated on the spot with also more details provided then.

Two important points to note:

  • Juniors who want to be considered for the JIRCs in 2016 should not run as it will make them non-comp for JIRCs.
  • Please send jannematias"at" an email if you plan to attend so that he can arrange sufficient maps.
