Thank you all for coming. Apologies for putting the start on the wrong boulder! Noone complained but I noticed it when collecting things in. Hope the buzzing buzzard wasn’t too disconcerting around no. 2. In the interests of fun, fairness and the relaxed nature of the event I have chosen to accept the occasional individuals word when the punch didn’t register. Thanks Kirsty for helping me out with the controls and registration.

Club coaches needed
We are currently needing more club coaches to help at our regular training sessions. To qualify as a UKCC Level 1 coach you need to be able to complete Light Green courses at a certain standard and then attend a 3 day course (usually at the National Centre, Glenmore Lodge) which includes assessment.
The courses are intensive but very worthwhile and good fun.
Further details are available at
http://www.scottish-orienteering.org/natcen/page/national-centre-course-schedule
Maroc covers all cost of the course – in return for expecting qualified coaches to plan at least 2 training sessions a year for 2 years (mentoring and help is available).
If you are interested please check out the SOA site or speak to any of the existing club coaches.
