“On the second day of Christmas, MAROC gave to me,
The Pudding Shaker run, around the Glen O’Dee”
Many thanks to the 88 runners who came along to Glen O’Dee today to take part in the Pudding Shaker. Hopefully you enjoyed the event and the ‘challenges’ were not too demanding – judging by the results, many managed to count and run at the same time! The weather was very kind to us – still a bit boggy underfoot, but that didn’t appear to deter anyone.”

Great results from Evelyn and Ewan on medium who continued to show real potential at a young age and from Jon who showed his class on the long course. I don’t think it was as tough as Balmedie but both courses were certainly technically difficult so well done to all. I hope Calum can get more than 3 controls next time! Birsemore is always a pleasure to plan and run on. I hope you all enjoyed and didn’t get too distracted by the small area of ongoing felling.

Thank you to all those who attended the event and showed their support for my first planned/organised event. Especially thanks to Ian Hamilton and Genevieve Jones for staying behind at the end to help collect in controls. Also thanks to my Mum and Dad for helping all day :)
