This event will follow the latest Covid-19 SOA Event guidance issued 26th August 2020. All competitors are required to pre-enter and pay online (details to follow) and there will be no entry on the day allowed and no registration tent. This event is open to members of other clubs as well as to members of MAROC.
Please could all competitors read the BOF Participant Code of Conduct at the link below and ensure that they adhere to it.
Competitors will be allocated a start time which must be adhered to in order to keep people separate and will go direct to the start.
SI-Cards may be hired via the online entry system.
Please ensure that you avoid contact with others by not gathering in groups at either the car park, start, finish or download. Competitors are encouraged to arrive just in time for their run and then leave after download in order minimise contact with others.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE EVENT IF YOU ARE SHOWING SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19, ARE SELF-ISOLATING OR ARE IN QUARANTINE.
The training courses at Dess Woods are now available to have a go at in your own time. Tapes will be out in the forest until next Tuesday, 22nd Sep.

Temp. course 1. Yellow/Orange standard; 3.4 km, 40m climb
Temp. course 2. Green/Blue standard; 5.3 km, 70m climb
The Yellow/Orange course follows paths and line features. Some paths are narrow and not suitable for buggies. Please do not run through the bike park. This is marked 'out of bounds'.
The Green/Blue course is technically and physically challenging due to rough ground and vegetation.

Don't forget to put the map in a plastic wallet or use waterproof paper.
There will be no control kites or timing equipment but the control locations, including start and finish will be marked by clear red and white tape.
Participants must ensure social distancing is maintained at all times, in line with current Government guidance. This is an individual activity so participants take part at their own risk. It is not covered by any orienteering insurance policy.
