Royal Deeside Scottish 6-Days Demystified

This summer Deeside will host the Scottish 6-Days for the 4th time, following previous events in 1983, 1993 and 2005. Main website for the event is here. Around 3,000 orienteers are expected to participate in the festival from all over Scotland, the rest of the UK, and beyond. However, the event is not just for expert seasoned orienteers and is open to all to participate. As well as competitive age-based classes there is a range of open colour-coded courses avilable for anyone to enter. And for the under 8s each day there will be a fun string course too. In case you are having difficulty understanding what is on offer and which class to enter, this document aims to demystify the whole event.

Please note that the closing date for pre-entries is 30th June 2017.
