Pre Event Info

We are running a Christmas family fun orienteering event on Sunday 15th December.  Come ready in your Santa hat for a 10.30am start at Potarch. Car parking at Potarch Green car park.

 

There will be some Christmas activities along the way at white and yellow level and then enjoy some mulled apple juice or alcohol-free mulled wine and a mince pie. There will also be a TD4/5 challenge. Some parent volunteers would be great to help with three of the activities please!

 

Please confirm to Esther by email (), if you are coming by Wednesday 11th December. £3/ £1.50 in cash please.

 

Looking forward to seeing you there with a mug for your Christmassy hot drink.

Safety and Risk

A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
This includes dressing appropriately for the weather conditions, and carrying a whistle.
Participants in orienteering should be aware of the risk of tick bites - more information here.

SPORTident timing will be used

Please note that a lost hire SI-Card will be charged for at a rate of £30, unless the Club Commitee agrees that there are special circumstances.
