Sarah Dunn appointed to position of Club Development Officer

Following completion of the formal job posting process Sarah Dunn has been appointed to the post of MAROC Club Development Officer. This position will focus on working with the MAROC membership, and building on the previous successes of MAROC, to develop the sport in the catchment area.
As such the main aims of the role are:
• To identify new opportunities for increasing the membership of Mar Orienteering Club and for increasing the participation in the club’s activities and events.
• To support schools in their efforts to introduce orienteering and to link to the local club especially where it furthers integration into the mainstream sport.
• To assist in developing further the capabilities of the existing membership in terms of organisational ability and orienteering skill levels.
