| A judging panel of members of the British Orienteering Development Committee had
applications from clubs to consider for the title of 'Club of the Year'.
All had excellent examples of good practice and the voting was very close. The
top three placed clubs will receive their prizes at the British Orienteering AGM
and their applications will be forwarded into the national 'Sports Club of the
Year' competition which is run by the CCPR in conjunction with The Foundation
for Sport and the Arts.
1st The Warwickshire & Coventry Orienteering Club Octavian Droobers
2nd Cleveland Orienteering Klub
3rd South Yorkshire Orienteers
Highly commended were (in alphabetic order): Harlequins Orienteering Club, Mar
Orienteering Club and Newcastle & Tyneside Orienteers. |
