Maroc Juniors made an important
contribution to the North Area win at Inschriach
over the weekend of October 11th-12th. In the
relays on Saturday, our 21 juniors made up over
half of the North Area Team. The North Area
scoring teams were 3rd and 6th in the 'open'
category and 1st and 2nd in the girls competition.
Other of our North Area girls teams came 3rd, 5th
and 6th. We scored 68 against East's 60 and West's
32. At the Individual event on the Sunday, we
again came out top with 65 points against East's 52
and West's 47, giving a convincing win, overall.
Special congratulations to our 11
medal winners: In the Girl's Relay Teams: Megan
Getliff (3rd) and Cara McMurtrie (3rd), Jessica
Stuart (2nd) and Jennifer Ricketts (2nd), and Evelyn
Mason (1st) and Abigail Mason (1st). Individual
Winners: Ross McMurtrie (3rd) and Alistair Walker
(2nd) in JM2, Finlay Langan (1st) in JM5M, Abigail
Mason (2nd) and Isla Kitching (1st) in JW2, and
Katherine Archibald (3rd) and Evelyn Mason (1st) in
JW3.
