Welcome to Spring in Classic Orienteering terrain on Royal Deeside for the second 2024 Scottish Orienteering League Event.

Entries are Open

Balfour is on the southern slopes of Deeside, 3km SE of Aboyne, a large forest, last used for a National status event on Day 2 of Royal Deeside 2017.

This event is held as Day 2 of a Double-header weekend with Tayside Orienteer's Scottish Middle Distance Championships at Alyth Hill on Saturday 20th April.

Follow the old drove roads across the Mounth for our SOL 2 event at Balfour on the Sunday.

Scottish Champs Weekend 2023 in Oban

Maroc Podium positions at Individuals and Relay

A very competitive Maroc team of 24 travelled to Oban for a weekend of quality orienteering competition. They embraced the challenge of one of the best UK orienteering areas at Creag Mhic Chailein for the Individual races and the varied terrain of Inverawe Country Park for the Relays.

The excellently organised events were held on 27th and 28th May hosted by the West Area clubs. Full results are on the Forth Valley and STAG Glasgow websites.
