This event is held as Day 2 of a Double-header weekend with Tayside Orienteer's Scottish Middle Distance Championships at Alyth Hill on Saturday 20th April.
Follow the old drove roads across the Mounth for our SOL 2 event at Balfour on the Sunday.
Type of event: Local Race
Part of a 6 Event 'Spring Series' held with GRAMP
We are currently needing more club coaches to help at our regular training sessions. To qualify as a UKCC Level 1 coach you need to be able to complete Light Green courses at a certain standard and then attend a 3 day course (usually at the National Centre, Glenmore Lodge) which includes assessment.
The courses are intensive but very worthwhile and good fun.
Further details are available at
http://www.scottish-orienteering.org/natcen/page/national-centre-course-schedule
Maroc covers all cost of the course – in return for expecting qualified coaches to plan at least 2 training sessions a year for 2 years (mentoring and help is available).
If you are interested please check out the SOA site or speak to any of the existing club coaches.
