Permanent Orienteering Courses

Can’t wait until the next event? Or would you like some more practice to climb up those results lists? Have a go at one of our semi-permanent courses in Deeside. Currently in 4 areas, there are suggested courses of short, medium and long at each. Controls will be moved once or twice a year so you can go back and have a different challenge.

Level D, previously called Local events: £4 Senior / £2.50 Junior
Adults up to Light Green: £2.50
Deeside Night Cup & Forest Sprints: £4 Senior/ £2.50 Junior  
Training events: £2 Senior / £1 Junior
LOST BRIKKES £45 unless the Club Commitee agrees there are special circumstances

The Maroc Annual Club Celebration and AGM was held on Saturday 24th November. The focus was on celebrating the year’s achievements, and lots of badges and medals were presented. This was followed by lots of great food and a ceilidh. A great night.

MAROC trial “Early Entry System” at Redburn

Following the success of the Gramp system we ran the EEE system at Redburn on Sunday 27th March. This speeded up registration, and reduced computer data entry on the morning of the event.
