The “new” Cambus O’May provides a safe network of paths for the easier courses, and still offers serious technical challenges for the more experienced. At the same time, parts of the area are potentially unsafe for night navigation, and the courses were planned to lead you through the nice bits, and away from the high crags and boulder fields. Thanks to everyone for coming, to George and Evelyn for organising and running the show, and to the soup providers. It was however most disappointing that some selfish idiot thought it funny to move the third control on the orange course. Apologies to those who either didn’t locate it, or who spent a long time looking. Well done to all who took part, and a special mention to Harry the hedgehog who ran for over two hours without ever managing to leave the car park. Ken Hall |
