Club Store Clear Out

Well, for several years their home has been in a farm building near Drumoak, but the building is about to be demolished so a new home will be created for the club's equipment.

But first, one Saturday morning, Jon, Sarah, Ewan, Hilary, Alex, Graeme and Cathy got together at the store in order to clear out unwanted items.

Sometimes it was like looking back in time as stopwatches, turnover start

times display board and the box for posted results emerged from the gloom.  We realise how much easier it has become to run an event with the advent of e-timing, laptop computers and the internet.

So it was that creaky chairs,  tangled tape and surplus signs were recycled.

Of the four cars present, two took items for recycling, one whisked away our SI six-day T-bars to the National Centre and the fourth  plus trailer took the remainder to its new home in Dess.
